Shooting Abstract Images.

The Low Winter Sun at this time of year allows some beautiful low relief shots. I decided to shoot and grade these in colour, not something I do often but the saturation seemed to call for that. I’ve cropped to a 16:9 aspect ratio to give them a cinematic feel also. As always comments and questions welcome.

Over the last few weeks traveling around Aberdeen in my car, I’ve seen several ideas for abstract images around the harbour. There are large primary coloured abstract shapes everywhere. The deep blue of the sky and low Winter Sun has helped me to visualise this.  Again I’ve used a 16:9 ratio.

Love the depth in your photography… the contrast and colour gives the photos a feeling of mystery.
